The original property consisted solely of a residence, shed, garage and driveway.   Over the last several years, J. Mendoza Gardens has created a series of gardens connecting these structures.   The sequenced spaces include a color themed perennial garden, a pool garden, an herb garden in the shape of an Octopus, a raised dry garden, a grass garden and woodland border.  Numerous trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials, annuals, biannuals and bulbs provide a year round display of color.
